Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This policy explains what Paywall collects, why, and the choices you have. We aim to collect the minimum needed to run the service.
Information we collect
Account information you provide when you register: email address and authentication credentials.
Configuration you create: pricing rules, registered routes, API keys, connected Cloudflare zones, and your payout wallet address.
Operational data needed to run the service: request metadata for metered traffic, payment and payout records, and webhook delivery logs.
How we use it
To provide and operate the service: matching requests to your pricing, issuing x402 challenges, recording payments, and sending payouts and webhooks.
To secure the service, prevent abuse, and debug issues.
To communicate with you about your account and important service changes.
Payments on Base
Payments are made in USDC on the Base network. On-network transaction data is public by the nature of the network and is not controlled by Paywall.
You connect your own payout wallet. We do not ask for or store credit-card details.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We use service providers (for example hosting and infrastructure) strictly to operate the service, under confidentiality obligations.
We may disclose information where required by law.
Retention & your choices
We keep account and operational data for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
